Ed Morris - Kentucky State Director
Ed Morris brings a lifetime of outdoor experience, conservation leadership, military service, and civic involvement to his role as Hunter Nation’s Kentucky State Director.
Ed’s passion for the outdoors began as a youngster trailing his dad on family rabbit hunts. Since then, he has grown into an accomplished outdoorsman, hunting extensively across the United States and abroad while pursuing a wide range of game animals and fish species. His love for hunting, fishing, conservation, and America’s outdoor heritage has shaped decades of leadership and service.
For more than 40 years, Ed has served as an officer and board member for numerous outdoor and conservation organizations, including Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International, United Bowhunters of Kentucky, and the League of Kentucky Sportsmen. He continues to serve today as a board member of Jefferson Gun Club in Louisville.
Ed is also deeply involved in public policy and grassroots political engagement. He and his wife, Cindy, have hosted numerous fundraisers and campaign events for candidates who support hunting, conservation, the outdoors, and Second Amendment rights. Ed also serves on an advisory board for candidate selection and as a local Precinct Captain.
In addition to his conservation and political work, Ed has been a staff member on several outdoor television shows, including Open Season TV and Lights Out Outdoors.
Ed proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps before returning to the University of Louisville, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He also continued his education in Civil Engineering Technology. Professionally, Ed has spent his career as an executive with major highway and utility contractors, helping build roads and water and sewer treatment plants across Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee.
An avid bowhunter and sporting clays shooter, Ed stays busy planning his next hunting trip, clays tournament, or family outing. Ed and Cindy live in Louisville, where they enjoy their four children, six granddaughters, and three Labrador Retrievers.
Ed has also served as a Senior Deacon at Fairdale Christian Church and gives credit to God for all He has provided.
Hunter Nation is proud to welcome Ed Morris as Kentucky State Director and looks forward to his leadership in defending America’s hunting traditions, outdoor heritage, conservation values, and constitutional freedoms.

Mission, KS — Hunter Nation is announcing the partnership of the Coalition to Delist the Gray Wolf, an alliance of national and state organizations committed to securing the removal of the gray wolf from the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA), without judicial review, and restoring wildlife management authority to the states. These organizations represent millions of hunters, ranchers, sportsmen, farmers, conservationists, and rural families.
