Hunter Nation Applauds New Legislation to Repeal Pennsylvania’s Sunday Hunting Ban

Erie County, PA – Hunter Nation commends Pennsylvania State Senator Dan Laughlin for his introduction of Senate Bill 67, a groundbreaking piece of legislation that repeals the prohibition on Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania. This bill represents a significant step forward in the responsible management of our state's rich hunting traditions and wildlife resources.

The hunter and sportsmen advocacy organization fully endorses this legislation and their Pennsylvania branch has been working diligently to get this bill reintroduced. Hunter Nation is proud to be working with the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau on this important legislation as well. This bill will not only increase opportunities for hunters, this legislation will also assist agriculture with crop damage mitigation and food security.

Senator Laughlin’s proposal reopens Sunday hunting and transfers wildlife management authority to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, ensuring that decisions are made by experts with deep knowledge of the state’s natural resources.
