Governor Signs Bill Greenlights Hunter Nation Specialty License Plates
New specialty plates on the road in 2026 - Mission, Kansas, May 14, 2025, -- Governor Laura Kelly has signed CCR HB2335 authorizing a specialty license plate for Hunter Nation, a Kansas conservation organization. The bill was passed by the Kansas Legislature on the last day of the 2025 Session.

Hunter Nation, the nation’s leading grassroots hunting advocacy organizations, works to promote conservation, access to habitat, hunting and preserving our country’s hunting heritage. It was founded and is based in Mission, Kansas.
Keith Mark, a lifelong Kansan and Founder/President of Hunter Nation said, “I want to thank Governor Kelly for signing the Hunter Nation License Plate bill. Her support proves that wildlife conservation is non-partisan. I also want to thank Senator Caryn Tyson for shepherding the Hunter Nation license plate bill through the legislative process. And a special thanks to Senate President Ty Masterson, Speaker of the House Dan Hawkins, Rep. Sean Tarwater, Rep. Chris Croft, and the other legislators who voted for the passage of the bill. I look forward to seeing the new Hunter Nation license plate on Kansas roadways!”.
