Celebrating One Year of Sunday Hunting Freedom

On July 11, 2026, Hunter Nation Pennsylvania will be hosting an Award Ceremony and Celebration of Sunday Hunting in Pennsylvania. This event coincides with the one year anniversary of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signing Act 36 or 2025 into law. This law fully repealed the ban on Sunday hunting in the Commonwealth. Full Sunday Hunting Access Coming Soon

Pennsylvania’s 2026 Spring Gobbler Season is fully underway. Unfortunately, Sundays were not included in this year’s Spring Gobbler Season. There are several reasons for this. Hunter Nation has been working with the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC). The efforts of Hunter Nation have paid off. Beginning in 2026/2027 hunting license year, all Sundays will be incorporated into all open hunting seasons, with the exception of migratory birds.

Support Sunday Hunting for Migratory Birds

Hunter Nation is encouraging migratory bird hunters to contact the PGC and to voice their opinions about including Sundays in future migratory bird seasons. There is the link for contacting the PGC Board of Commissioners with your comments, [email protected].
