Right now, there is a bill moving through the process that would allow for expanded sales of antlerless deer licenses – making them available for purchase from any license agent, not just county treasurers. Unfortunately, last Saturday, the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners delayed advancement of this important proposal.

Earlier this month, Pennsylvania Senate Bill 431 earned a 45-5 to be approved. It then was voted favorably by the House Game and Fisheries Committee. Currently, it is before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. This bill would be a big step in the right direction to allow hunters to have a more convenient and efficient way of applying for and receiving hunting licenses.
Call now! Contact members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and let them know you approve of Senate Bill 431 and removing a barrier to purchasing leftover tags.
