Growing up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula was a blessing. Having a family that hunted and fished was even better. My dad had us out every chance he could. I always thanked my mother for letting my dad take us. Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping have always been a huge part of my life. My hope is to help future generations get to do what I was raised doing. I mowed neighborhood lawns so I could afford my first bow and then a motorcycle. I was free to run the hills and streams and enjoy what God Blesses is all with- Nature! My wife and I have been very fortunate to have been able to move back “home” where I again am walking those same hills as I did as a boy.

Tyler Ruhland
Wisconsin State Director
wisconsin@hunternation.org

Tyler’s passion for hunting, firearms, and the outdoors started as early as he could walk. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Tyler cut his teeth chasing whitetail in the Fall and turkey in the Spring. He is an avid bow hunter, shooter, and firearms collector, but is most proud of his title “Dad” to his son Bear. Tyler brings an unmatched determination to get young people outdoors because, to him, bringing up the next generation of hunters is key to protecting America’s fundamental freedoms and to preserve its hunting heritage.

Responsible Predator Management

What is this All About? For too long, Washington bureaucrats have tied our hands in managing our state's out of control wolf population.
Attend these town hall meetings to hear about new legislation that will remove wolves from federal protection and prevent activist judges from intervening in the management of these apex predators.

Responsible predator management is an important component in maintaining balanced wildlife numbers. Wolf management must be returned to the states to help control the populations of moose, elk, deer, and other wildlife.
