Growing up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula was a blessing. Having a family that hunted and fished was even better. My dad had us out every chance he could. I always thanked my mother for letting my dad take us. Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping have always been a huge part of my life. My hope is to help future generations get to do what I was raised doing. I mowed neighborhood lawns so I could afford my first bow and then a motorcycle. I was free to run the hills and streams and enjoy what God Blesses is all with- Nature! My wife and I have been very fortunate to have been able to move back “home” where I again am walking those same hills as I did as a boy.

Wisconsin State Director

Chris started as a volunteer for Hunter Nation in 2020 where he conducted market research identifying new opportunities to grow Hunter Nation’s grassroots efforts. This work led to new client partnerships and coalitions fighting for, supporting, and educating our membership and legislators.

As an avid hunter and fisherman and a father to three boys, the interest in Hunter Nation turned to a passion to ensure they have the same rights and opportunities to live our outdoor heritage.

Chris witnessed firsthand the effects Wisconsin’s state government had on our hunting and fishing rights in 2020. During that year in Wisconsin alone, Hunter Nation fought and won cases for holding a wolf hunt, reopening hunters’ safety education courses and opening access for fishing business owners who were not allowed to operate, essentially closing fishing for many Wisconsin residents.

Responsible Predator Management

What is this All About? For too long, Washington bureaucrats have tied our hands in managing our state's out of control wolf population.
Attend these town hall meetings to hear about new legislation that will remove wolves from federal protection and prevent activist judges from intervening in the management of these apex predators.

Responsible predator management is an important component in maintaining balanced wildlife numbers. Wolf management must be returned to the states to help control the populations of moose, elk, deer, and other wildlife.

John is an avid hunter, PA Whitetail and Ducks, and Black Bear are my game.

I do enjoy the small game hunt every so often throughout the season.

Good management and food plots on the privet land I hunt is my key to success during the season.
