CHART WESTCOTT AND TIM CARNAHAN JOIN HUNTER NATION BOARD

Mission, Kansas (June 1, 2021) - Today Hunter Nation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting America’s hunting heritage, announced the appointment of Chart Westcott and Tim Carnahan to the Hunter Nation Board of Directors.

“The addition of Chart and Tim, two prominent business and philanthropic leaders, will help Hunter Nation continue to grow our grassroots army of hunters, engage them in the issues that matter most, and activate them to protect traditional American values and the future of hunting,” said Luke Hilgemann, President of Hunter Nation.

“Chart and Tim’s business acumen, vision, and commitment to our mission will be invaluable to the future of this organization and the impact we will have across the country,” Hilgemann continued.

Chart Westcott is the Co-Founder and COO of Ikarian Capital, LLC, a biotech investment firm based in Dallas, Texas focusing on innovations in drug discovery and development. Prior to founding Ikarian Capital, LLC, Westcott served as general counsel and managing partner at Westcott, LLC. In this role, he advised businesses on legal matters and participated in over 100 business transactions across all asset classes. Westcott is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. An avid outdoorsman, Westcott cherishes every opportunity he has to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.

Tim Carnahan is an experienced businessman with over 40 years of experience in multiple executive financial roles in the retail and telecom industries.  Carnahan most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Save Mart Company, a multi-billion food retailer. In this role he was responsible for information technology, innovative sourcing, real estate, accounting and finance. Prior to his role at The Save Mart Company, Carnahan held executive leadership positions at The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, Intelsat General Corporation, ShopRite Supermarkets Inc. and Grand Union. Carnahan has a passion for leadership development and looks forward to leveraging his experience to increase Hunter Nation’s advocacy and public policy impact.
